The Monkey is a non-member land animal.

Default Appearance[]

Monkeys have blue-gray fur with cream-pink skin on its hands, feet, ears, underside, and face. They have full slanted ebony eyes. Monkeys have large front hands and smaller back feet, arched posture, long thin curled tail, small lower body, and a wide, rectangular head with big, round ears.

History[]

The Monkey was initially released on July 17, 2010, in "Choose an Animal" menu. It was most recently released on August 30, 2012, in "Choose an Animal" menu.

Trivia[]

  • The Monkey is one of the six animals sold during Beta Testing, along with Bunnies, Wolves, Tigers, Koalas, and Pandas.
  • It is one of the default animals a New Jammer may choose from.
  • Monkeys left on April 12, 2012 to raise the awareness of the endangered species list. Throughout the extent of time, the monkey spirit stone was still able to be used.
  • The Conservation Museum formerly had a donation box at the right-hand side of the entrance for the purposes of bringing endangered animals to Jamaa. Animal Jam Headquarters used this box to bring the monkeys back and present new animals.
  • On August 30, Jammers finished donating over 1,000,000 Gems in the donation box. As a result, Animal Jam Headquarters brought monkeys back, along with the Monkey pet and the Monkeys Only Party, featuring a jungle-like den.
  • In The Great Escape, there is a cave which only Monkeys can open.
  • Monkeys have a chain of plushies. They are the Monkey Plushie, Giant Monkey Plushie, and the Exclusive Monkey Plushie.
  • Monkeys were the second animal to go endangered.
